Laura and Adam are one of the sweetest couples I have worked with. They are the perfect pair and compliment each other so well. One of the main reasons I enjoy doing engagement sessions is so that I can get to know my clients a little bit better before their wedding day. They chose Jetton Park on Lake Norman for their engagement session in early spring, and it was beautiful. You can see their engagement session here. Adam has a great sarcastic sense of humor and Laura is always smiling and laughing. The two of them just fit and are a blast to be around.
The Alexander Homestead is a really neat venue because it is in the middle of Charlotte, but has a rustic country vibe despite being in such a big city. The big barn was a fantastic reception space. I couldn’t help but get a little emotional watching Laura walked down the aisle because she was clearly fighting back some tears. Adam was standing at the end of the aisle motioning for her to smile and gave everyone a laugh. It was so cute. Their Alexander Homestead wedding took place in October, and the day was a little rainy, but mother nature saved the downpour for the reception, thankfully! We even got an incredible orange sunset right after the wedding ceremony during portraits. It was gorgeous! The day was filled with so many special moments, and it was so much fun to meet all of Laura and Adam’s amazing family and friends. A big thank you to Erik Perel for 2nd shooting with me!
