The last couple of years have gone by so fast. It doesn’t seem that long ago that Aaron and I were on vacation in St. John where we hiked to a gorgeous spot and he asked me to marry him. That was January of 2012. The next several months were busy with wedding planning and traveling all over the place for weddings and photo shoots and lots of time spent in my office. Then came our wedding in May of 2013 and now we are in the final weeks of preparation for our baby, due in February! As I approach my due date, I’ve been trying to get as many things checked off my to do list as I can, and one of those was to update my portfolio. I am not sure how 2 years slipped by without a portfolio update!
I’ve been lucky to witness so many beautiful moments in the last several years as a wedding photographer. Running a business is hard work and the day to day often involves many hours in front of a computer screen, answering emails, editing photos, keeping up with accounting, etc. It’s easy to get lost in the little details of the day to day, but every time I pick up my camera and start shooting, I feel so happy and in the moment. I feel so lucky to have the chance to make my dream a reality. I get to photograph beautiful moments in people’s lives and preserve memories for them. That’s really special. It’s such a joy to do this as a profession. Thank you to all of you wonderful folks who have welcomed me into your lives and trusted me with your precious memories! Here are some of my favorite moments captured over the last several years at weddings.
