Here are a few of my favorites from Diana and Kyle’s Tanglewood Park wedding from April. Tanglewood Park is a place I’ve wanted to photograph for years, and my wish was finally granted last month. I first visited Tanglewood for a cross-country race back in high school, and I had the pleasure of seeing miles and miles of the park, though I was definitely more focused on getting a faster time than taking in the beauty at that point! It is gorgeous and has miles of beautiful well-kept trails, horseback riding stables, a pool, playground, and amazing Christmas lights during the holidays. If I lived closer to it, I would probably go there every day. I was really excited to photograph Diana and Kyle’s wedding there in the beautiful flower-filled arboretum. I got a sneak peek during Diana’s bridal session when the purple wisteria was in full bloom, along with the dogwoods, azaleas and cherry blossoms. It seems like all the flowers bloomed at once this year! Luckily, there were still plenty of blooms by Diana and Kyle’s wedding date. The forecast called for lots of rain, but thankfully it held off enough for us to get all the shots outdoors that we had planned on getting- woohoo! Diana arrived to the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage- so fun! Diana and Kyle were so easy to work with and made my job so easy. It was great getting to know them a bit during their engagement session last fall at Roaring Gap. I feel like engagement shoots are so essential in helping me get to know my couples so that I can better capture them on their wedding day. Scott Muthersbaugh shot his wedding with me and did an amazing job as usual! Enough words, here are some pictures!
