I take a walk through Hurley Park nearly every day, and every day it gets prettier and prettier. The flowers in the following photos are trilliums. Crazy beautiful. This one is my favorite: Squirrels everywhere!

Here are few shots from the last few weeks. Since then, the chicks have grown up. They are getting really big and have started jumping out of their box. It won’t be long before they look like full-grown hens!

Saturday was spent on Wrightsville Beach because it is the last weekend of the season when dogs are still allowed on the beach. My friend Morgan brought her pup, Sugar, who is Rio’s current lady-friend. It was so much fun watching them run around in the sand!
