Yesterday Aaron, Rio and I took off to Stone Mountain, a beautiful place I’ve been going to since I was a little kid. I even got lost on the mountain with my brother and cousin on Christmas day one year! We probably hiked 10 miles more than we were expecting, and by the time we got back to the mountain house, our family was about to call the police! Luckily I know my way around better now than I did then and we didn’t get lost this time. Stone Mountain has a gorgeous rock face and a beautiful waterfall, amazing views and great hiking trails. We got there too late in the day to go to the top of the mountain, but we had a ball climbing on boulders and romping through the woods and the golden field at the base.
