About a year ago, I got my first assignment from Our State magazine. I went to Creswell, NC, to Pettigrew State Park to photograph an Easter sunrise service. How crazy that it’s been a year already. It is exciting to finally see my work published in a magazine, especially Our State. I do multimedia video projects for the online web exclusives for Our State every month, but there’s something really special about seeing a photo in print. You can see it on page 127.
