Kelly told me that she and Brandon could be really silly together, and that is definitely true! Kelly and Brandon are one of the most playful, fun and adorable couples I’ve had a chance to work with. We met up in the NoDa section of Charlotte, which has some awesome colorful walls and interesting shops and restaurants. Loved it! These two really put my photojournalism skills to the test because they were so natural and energetic together and had lots of great ideas for poses. Photographer’s dream! As you can see above, ice cream is a big thing for them. Kelly told me that her friends joke with her that she loves ice cream more than Brandon. When Kelly’s mom was pregnant and ate ice cream, Kelly would kick up a frenzy in the womb- how crazy is that!? I was laughing nonstop for this session. Super excited for their wedding in the Outer Banks in September!

This lady walked up and got really excited that we were in the middle of an engagement session and was eager to offer some suggestions. She jumped right in to give us some ideas on poses… gotta love Brandon’s expression in these!
Ice cream fight!
Here are some sweet ones on the railroad tracks. Kelly found this wooden frame next to the tracks and wanted to use if for some photos. Pretty creative if you ask me!
