Jenna and Greg’s Castle Ladyhawk wedding was a dream to photograph! I knew as soon as Jenna and I started conversing through emails that she would be a super fun bride, and I was so excited when she booked me to shoot her mountain wedding. She and Greg would be coming all the way from Miami for their NC wedding. Coincidentally, I went on vacation to Florida with my family and was able to photograph Jenna and Greg’s engagement session in Miami. This was such a treat since it’s a totally different landscape than I am used to shooting, and Jenna and Greg were such naturals in front of the camera! They are both incredibly hard working doctors, and they barely get any time of work, so I imagine that the time they do have is precious and they make the most of it! It showed in their photos. : )
I was enamored with all of the beautiful scenery and details of Jenna and Greg’s gorgeous wedding day. The forecast called for rain, but we somehow managed to get all of the outdoor shots we wanted. Many brides would have opted to get married inside under the circumstances, but I was so happy Jenna stuck to her guns and insisted on an outdoor ceremony. Her wedding planner, Michelle from Occasions by Emily, was awesome and made sure the ceremony happened outdoors without a hitch. It did sprinkle on us, but a little rain won’t kill you, right!? I love when my couples will brave the elements for great photos. Jenna and Greg’s wedding ceremony couldn’t have been prettier, even on a sunny day. The clouds produced the prettiest soft light that made the mountains really pop. The whole day was such a blast. Thank you to Rachel Hyde and Carol Boone (my office assistant) for shooting with me and doing an amazing job!
