I met Hoda a few years ago in college through my roommate and best bud, Sara. They were both leaders in the Persian Cultural Society, and I went out with them often to dance to Persian music for their fundraisers, which was a lot of fun! Now Hoda is in her second year of dental school at UNC, and she is engaged to Dr. Kiarash Bassiri, who is an optometrist in Raleigh. Hoda is not only a gorgeous person, but she is also very sweet and nice to everyone. It turns out the two met at one of the “Persian Nights” at Vespa in Chapel Hill. I’ve only just met Kiarash but can tell they are a great match! We started off at Kiarash’s parents’ house, then we ventured into downtown Raleigh. Hoda asked a waiter at the Big Easy if she could change on outfit there, and he invited us in to take some pictures. The inside had really interesting lighting and some pretty neat textures and colors on the walls which made for some nice shots.

A Friend - Hoda and Kiarash are two of the greatest people in the world.
They are going to enjoy the rest of their lives together and I only wish that others could have and experience what they have.
The photographer did an excellent job of capturing such beautiful pictures, but then again, when these two are your subjects, this is a job easily done.
