Ever since I started my business 3 years ago, I’ve dreamed of opening up a home office. Big things are happening here at Jenny Tenney Photography! It is so rewarding to see my hard work paying off. We’ve converted the front room of our house into a home studio for client meetings. I don’t mind meeting my clients at coffee shops, but there’s just something so nice about having a nice little space in my own home. I can set all of my sample albums out on the table and don’t have to worry about toting them around with me or spilling coffee on them. Also, I think it gives my clients a better idea for who I am and what I do. I hope you all feel at home in my little studio! : ) Stop by and say hello! I need to buy a few more furniture items, decorations and prints, but I am loving how it is looking so far!
I have to share my excitement with you for another recent development. I have a fabulous new intern named Julia! I feel so lucky to have wonderful clients that keep me very busy, especially in the spring and fall. It will be great to have a helping hand during those busy times, and it will be so nice to have an assistant on some of my shoots.
Ok, I’m not done yet… there’s more. : ) I am doing a brand overhaul and am working with a super talented artist to develop a new logo and new look for my website, blog and printed materials. SO excited about this one guys. Check out Becca’s amazing work here. The new look will be natural, outdoorsy and floral- perfect for my business! I can’t wait to share all of that with you soon!
For now, I am off to France and Holland for a couple of weeks with my mom. My dad and fiance have previous commitments and can’t join us, so it will be a mother-daughter trip. I will miss the boys, but I am really happy to spend some quality time with my mom before I get married next May and life gets crazy. My family lived in Holland for a year and a half when I was 5 years old, and I have such fond memories of our time there but have not been back since then. It’s been 20 years! We are going to ride bikes along the canals, eat croissants, check out the amazing French cuisine (Lord knows I love me some cheese), photograph the beautiful fields of lavender, explore ancient castles… SO EXCITED!!!!! See ya’ll in a couple weeks! I have a bunch of amazing weddings to share with you when I get back. Au Revoir!
