I LOVE animals. If it were up to me, I would have a house full of them. One day I want to live out in the country with tons of land, a big garden, chickens, goats, and lots of dogs and cats. For now, I have one amazing dog, my sweet little boy, Rio. Rio is recovering from ACL surgery, so it is not a good time to add a 2nd dog to our family though I would love to.
I found Rio at Paws4ever in Mebane in 2009, and I feel like I won the dog lottery. Honestly, Rio is the best dog ever. I know there are many of you out there that think you know a better dog, but you are wrong. ; ) Rio is the sweetest. Aaron and I call him our snuggle hound. He is crazy affectionate and very intelligent. I just love him to death.
I have a soft spot in my heart for all the homeless animals out there. I wish I could adopt ALL OF THE DOGS AND CATS! Instead, I will do my part in helping find them homes by photographing the animals at Faithful Friends Animal Rescue here in Salisbury. Take a look and contact Faithful Friends to take one of these sweeties home with you! You can see more photos of the adoptable dogs and cats on the Faithful Friends facebook page. These 3 are just a few of many dogs and cats available for adoption.
The dog above is named Max II. He’s a 1 1/2 year old Rat Terrier mix. He’s a very loving dog and super energetic.
This is Max (above). He’s a 2 1/2 year old Miniature Pincher mix. He is super sweet and full of energy.
Dallas is a a sweet girl, and she’s a 1 year old Catahoula mix. Isn’t she beautiful!? I really wanted to take her home with me. She’s got one blue eye and one brown eye. I’ve never seen anything like her before. Seriously, you should come get her. A few people think I am a good dog picker outer. : )
Stay tuned for more photos of adoptable dogs and cats! Faithful Friends has many more dogs and cats in need of loving homes.
Here’s a photo of my Rio burrito. Sorry, he’s all mine. Not available for adoption.
