I love making videos for Our State Magazine. I always learn something new and meet some really interesting folks, and producing a video forces me to shift gears from wedding and portrait photography. It’s always a fun challenge. Our State recipe developer, Wendy Perry, came up with some wacky cake ideas for the February dessert issue. Wendy’s friend Teresa Williford used her baking skills to come up with the recipes, and Our State art director, Deanne O’Connor used her expertise to design the shoot. Editorial assistant Mandy Stovall helped with just about everything and made sure the shoot went smoothly. Matt Hulsman took the amazing photographs that you will see in the video and in the magazine. Check out the awesome cover of the Feb issue!
