All Grown Up

The chicks have been getting bigger and bigger every day, and they are almost full-grown now! At one point, I could see them changing daily. Incredible how fast they grow! It’s been really fun watching their transformation from fuzzy little chicks to curious hens. They recently started venturing out of their box in the utility room, and last night they joined me in the kitchen to peck around for crumbs while I was washing the dishes. Aaron started building a coop a few weeks ago, and it looks like we will be finishing it up this week so the chickens can live outside. This is a good thing because it means less mess to clean up (yay!) and they can start roaming around and eating bugs in the backyard. Hopefully they will make a dent in the mosquito population.
